The prices before you ask

Every quote we send starts from these figures. They are published so you can rule us in or out before spending any time on a conversation.

Three to five pages $800. Up to ten pages $1,900. Unlimited pages $3,500. E-commerce or a web app $4,500. Custom software from $5,000. All AUD, GST not included, hosting covered for year one. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

What we need from you

Four things. It takes about two minutes to write and you do not need to know anything technical.

  1. What the business does, in a sentence.
  2. What the website needs to achieve — enquiries, bookings, online sales, or simply looking credible.
  3. Roughly how many pages, or just a list of the things you want to explain.
  4. Anything it must connect to — a booking system, a payment provider, a CRM.

If you are not sure about any of it, say so and we will work it out. A vague brief is normal and it is not a reason to delay asking.

What you get back

  • A written scope listing exactly what is included, so there is nothing to argue about later.
  • One fixed AUD figure. Not a range, not an hourly estimate. It does not move unless you change the scope, and if you do we re-quote openly.
  • A delivery date.
  • A free homepage design, if you want one — your real business name, services and photos, so you can judge the work before spending anything. It is a design rather than a working site; the build starts only if you go ahead.

Within one business day. No obligation attached to any of it.

What the quote includes as standard

These are not line items we add on. Every package has them, which is why the quote is one number rather than a menu.

  • Custom design — not a template with your logo dropped in
  • Mobile-first build, because roughly 68% of Australian traffic is mobile
  • SEO wired in during the build: semantic HTML, structured data, meta, sitemap
  • A CMS so you can edit your own content
  • Analytics and Google Search Console configured
  • Full ownership of the code, domain and hosting account
  • Hosting included for the first year

How to compare our quote against the others

Get more than one. Then ask every provider the same five questions — the answers are what make a $3,000 quote and a $12,000 quote genuinely comparable.

  1. Is the design custom or a template?
  2. What are the total costs in year one and year two, including hosting?
  3. Who owns the code, domain and hosting account at the end?
  4. What exactly is included for SEO?
  5. Who writes the code, and where are they based?

We answer all five in the quote without being asked. The wider market context is in the average cost of website design for small business.

Ready when you are

Send the four things above from the contact page and you will have a scope, a fixed price and a date within one business day.

Common questions

How do I get a website design quote?

Tell us what the business does, what the website needs to achieve, roughly how many pages, and anything it has to connect to. That is enough for a written scope with a fixed AUD price, back within one business day. No discovery call required unless you want one.

Is the quote free?

Yes, and so is the homepage design if you want one. There is no charge and no obligation at any point before you decide to go ahead.

Will the price change once work starts?

No. The figure is fixed in writing before anything begins and only changes if you ask for something outside the agreed scope — in which case we re-quote that openly rather than adding hours quietly. Payment is split 50% to start and 50% on launch.

Do I have to get on a call first?

No. Some people prefer one and we are happy to book it, but a written quote does not depend on it. Our prices are published precisely so you can assess us without sitting through a sales conversation.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within a week of approving the scope. A three to five page site takes five to seven business days from there, up to ten pages two to three weeks, e-commerce four to six weeks. Full detail is on how long a website takes to build.
